£10 per hour

Shift Pattern:

Monday-Sunday 8am-8pm- 40hours per week over 5 days

8 hour shifts

Purpose of the role:

Job Purpose

Hours of Work – 40 hours per week compromising of Monday to Sunday 8am-9pm.

Role Requirement:
Cavendish Care has been developed to provide care and support to adults with Autism and/or a learning disability, many of whom who have complex behaviors. Our residents have varied needs and require appropriate activities to stimulate and engage them during the week. Cavendish Care are very proud of their own in-house activity center as it enriches the lives of both our residents and also their careers.

The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

To contribute as part of the team with the planning and delivery of an exciting and varied schedule of activities that appeals to our residents and meets their needs.

To provide a varied plan of outings, events and activities throughout the year for residents to select from.

To lead and / or assist with the leading of all activities during sessions and to direct support staff to assist in the organisation of classes and activities.

To provide, as part of the team, the day to day management of the Activity Centre – Ensuring we adhere to the landlord’s requirements of leaving the facility clean and tidy.

To contribute to the management of the outsourcing of external or internal specialists who may run activities or classes at the center.

To contribute to the development of new ideas and innovation to keep the activities fresh and appealing for our residents.

To contribute to the marketing and facilitation of selling our activities to members of the general public who meet our service provision criteria.
