Privacy, Dignity and Professional Boundaries
9.30am – 12.30pm
Privacy and dignity can sometimes be self-explanatory, but until you discuss the every day the simple things can be overlooked, so we take the fundamentals and build on these to ensure the service delivered is as private and dignified as possible in a person-centred way.
Professional boundaries can provide some grey areas within care, so understanding the principles fully and why these are so important allows participants to take them and apply them as appropriate on an individual basis.
