Remembrance Day 2022

This morning Chippings house celebrated Remembrance Day they were supported to make poppies to take down to the memorial site in Horley. The clients then sat in the kitchen and did some colouring, gluing, and cutting.

GC made short bread biscuits and seemed very happy with this. Once they had cooled down the biscuits were decorated like poppies. And again, GCseemed happy with the outcome.

AM very happy with his poppies he has been walking around showing everyone his colouring in.

In the afternoon we went out to the memorial garden staff explained what Remembrance Day is and they all put their poppies by the statue and sat there for a bit looking at all the flowers.
