Summer Fete

On Saturday 30th July 2016 we held a Summer Fete at Salfords Social Club. It was a huge success! Our staff, clients, tenants and members of the public all enjoyed the thankfully sunny day. The tombola, raffle, BBQ and various stalls all went down a treat. But none more than the ‘Sponge The Manager!’

Thank you to everyone who played their part from colouring in signs, donating to the tombola, running the stools, cooking the BBQ and so much more. It was an amazing group effort from everyone involved. Especially Stacey Logan who had the idea for the day and headed the project.

The bake off competition was also went down very well and they were all delicious! Well done to Roseleigh House for winning the competition and the prize of £50 Tesco vouchers. Thank you to Guy from Poplars for picking the winning cake.

We raised an impressive £504.33! All proceeds will be donated to the chosen charity on the day which was selected from the suggestion box. The charity chosen was St Catherine’s Hospice.
