Training and experience
You do not necessarily need to have experience in caring to begin a career at Cavendish Care. Full training is provided by our Learning and Development Manager at our Training Centre on an ongoing basis. Training sessions not only equip you with the necessary skills needed to care for our clients and tenants, they also give you a chance to get to know colleagues from other houses and to swap advice.
Reaching your potential
Cavendish Care will always support you to further your career.
All Support Workers are encouraged to work towards their Diploma in Care and many members of staff have been funded to attend specialist courses and to complete university degrees relevant to the care sector.
Furthermore, if you have worked full-time for the company for over two years, you will be rewarded with a free health cash plan. All employees who have worked for over five years are awarded a bonus.
There are regular social events for all employees such as the annual Christmas party which give members of staff the chance to get to know each other in a more informal environment.
